New Orleans Part II

I am back from New Orleans and have lots of pictures from the rest of my trip to share with y’all.

As one of the oldest Cities in America, New Orleans offers many historic homes built in the 1700’s and 1800’s. Here is a cute bed and breakfast mansion in the French Quarter that had so much charm.

I’d have to say the Frenchmen street was my favorite place to visit with all the live music and street art. I found these Koi fish spray painted on the grounds of Frechmen.

What a treat it was to be able to get together with my college roommate and dear friend Mica. She lives in the Garden District and took me to a yummy restaurant off Magazine called Ignatius. (I’d have to say this was on of my favorite meals I had on this trip)

I ordered the Bayou Sampler with creole jambalaya, red beans, crawfish etouffee. Boy was it yummy!!!

A visit to the WWII National Museum. The photo below describes why the national museum is held in New Orleans. We also saw Beyond All Boundaries 4D movie which was definitely worth the extra $5

The one and only Po-boy sandwich I had on the trip was at Parkway Bakery. I had the corn beef and also ordered a side of fried pickles. The Sandwich was amazing, but the pickles were a bit too salty for my liking.

Mica and I hanging by the Mississippi River and her laughing at my selfie stick.

Back at the National Association of Realtors Expo we took some fun photo booth pictures.

We spent the last day of our trip strolling around the french quarter. Here is a picture of Jackson Square and the Saint Louis Cathedral, which is one of the Oldest Cathedrals in the US!

It was a great trip with lots of bonding with my local WCR gals. We were fortunate enough to meet some really nice Realtors from around the Nation. I enjoyed learning tips on how to better run my business and be the best Realtor that I can be for my clients. I appreciated the historic architecture and rich culture New Orleans has to offer. However, nothing will ever beat my love and appreciation for being able to live in the South Bay.

Hello from New Orleans!!!

I’m so excited to be blogging this week from Louisiana in New Orleans! Today marks day two of our Women’s Council of Realtors National Conference and I will also be attending the National Association of Realtors Convention. I truly feel so blessed to have this opportunity to network with other agents across the Nation and attend seminars to expand my real estate knowledge. Here are some photos of day one:
